Full Description
The purpose of this effort is to procure for Naval Air Systems Command, Program Management Activity 209 (PMA-209) Air Combat Electronics one (1) Gen6 Lifecycle Sustainment Risk Assessment. This assessment will support Collins Aerospace, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, in identifying sustainment capabilities for the AN/ARC-210(V) RT-2036(C) hereinafter referred to as “Gen6”. This effort consists of the following elements:
a) Procure one (1) Gen6 Lifecycle Sustainment Risk Assessment.
b) Procure one (1) mid-term brief and one (1) final brief detailing status of task execution
with preliminary and final findings.
This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(l), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The AN/ARC-210(V) electronic protection (EP) radio systems and associated support equipment have been determined to be commercial products and CA will not provide or sell the technical data necessary to procure the items competitively or provide support for these products. Therefore, CA is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The Government does not intend to fund the development or qualification of other sources for fulfilling this requirement. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
