Wisconsin Cancer Reporting System Case Consolidation, Editing, and Abstracting Services

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Division of Public Health, Office of Health Informatics is seeking a pool of certified Oncology Data Specialists to provide critical cancer data services through the Wisconsin Cancer Reporting System. These resources must hold valid ODS credentials and will be engaged to perform technical tasks including case abstraction, data collection, auditing, and correction of cancer records in alignment with national and state guidelines. The work involves identifying reportable cancer cases, consolidating duplicate entries, correcting abstraction errors, conducting program and visual edits, and ensuring overall data integrity to meet WCRS standards. Contract solicitations are open under solicitation number S-1840 DPH-26, with responses due by July 28, 2026. The work is performed within the State of Wisconsin and requires access to secure health data systems.
