LOC Novel High-Density Optical Data Storage
Solicitation # 030ADV27R0004
The Library of Congress is soliciting proposals for a Firm-Fixed-Price pilot project to evaluate the feasibility of using novel ultra-high density optical data storage for the long-term preservation of its digital collections. Proposals are due by October 27, 2026, and must adhere to strict formatting and page limits across multiple volumes. Deliverables include project reporting, the encoded data storage, and the final educational display.
