AFRL Enterprise CSO: Centralized Open Spiral
Solicitation # FA865226SC005
Solicitation FA865226SC005 is a Centralized, Open Two-Step Spiral issued by the Air Force Research Laboratory under the Defense Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) framework in accordance with R-DFARS 212.70. The government is seeking Commercial Solutions Brief (CSB) submissions for innovative solutions ranging from advanced component development to operational systems development, specifically limited to Foundational Technologies (AFRL/RE). The deadline for Step One CSB submissions is 5:00 PM Eastern on April 30, 2027. Submissions must align with the Areas of Interest identified in Attachment 1 of the AFRL Enterprise CSO and follow the formatting instructions in Section 7 and Attachment 2 of the main announcement. While there is no limit on the number of CSBs a single offeror may submit, each must present a unique approach. Submissions should be emailed to afrl.cso.mailbox@us.af.mil, though those containing Controlled Unclassified Information must be transmitted via the DoD SAFE system. This spiral was noted as cancelled effective June 4, 2026, with future spirals transitioning to a decentralized model issued by respective Mission Organizations.
