This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of storage space prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only this solicitation; bids are being requested and a written hard-copy solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 20034602 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 531130. The solicitation bidding will start on the day this solicitation is posted, and will end on 3/31/2008 at 10:00am EST. Units are as follows: Three (3) 10x20 units, One (1) 10x15 unit, and One (1) 7x10 unit. Storage center must: be a secured facility, able to accommodate all units, be climate-controlled (not below 55/not above 75 degrees), be able to be accessed by CBP employees 24 hours a day/7 days a week, accept responsibility of moving supplies from current location (Public Storage, Inc.) to new storage center, must be within 30 miles of 6325 Digital Way, Indianapolis, IN 46278. (mileage will be calculated using www.mapquest.com) CCR Requirement: Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before award can be made. *If company is not registered on CCR, they may do so by going to the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov. The selected vendor must comply with all terms, conditions, and regulations in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The award will made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror (LPTA). Please submit all bids/quotes to Matthew Russell (U.S. Customs and Border Protection) at matthew.russell@dhs.gov.
