Page 1 of 1 Veterans Affairs Seeking Medical Space The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease of 15,000 net usable square feet of medical office space in the Craven and Caret County North Carolina delineated area. The space must be handicap accessible in accordance with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (4 CFR 101-19.6, App A) and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS). The space must ready for occupancy immediately. On-site parking for 200 vehicles is required including a minimum of 15 handicapped parking spaces specifically for VA usage. The VA requires a full-service lease for a five (5) year firm term with an additional five (5) years for a total of ten (10) years. All proposed space must be within the following delineated area: The delineated area expands from the following: To the North; US Highway 70 and the Neuse River To the South; NC 24 and US Highway 70 To the West; US Highway 17, NC 58 To the East; US Highway 70 Interested offerors must contact Contract Officer Barry Butler via E-Mail at contact@example.gov. Interested offerors must submit the address, property description, available square footage, and photographs. Also, a map or proof that the proposed property is within the delineated area is required. Contact is required by 12:00 EST on 08/24/2018. The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space.
