The Department of the Interior, through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, is conducting market research to identify qualified small business sources for the replacement of a boat ramp at Kirwin National Wildlife Refuge in Kansas. This announcement is a Sources Sought Notice, not a solicitation for bids or proposals, and no contract will be awarded from this notice. The intent is to gather industry information to support a future firm-fixed price contract, anticipated to have a 60-day performance period. Firms interested in participating are requested to submit their responses, including a government-provided Vendor Response Form, by June 5, 2026. The requirement falls under NAICS code 237990, which covers other heavy construction, with a size standard of $45 million. This project is a total small business set-aside, emphasizing the Government’s intent to award the eventual contract to a small business. The work will be performed in Kirwin, Kansas, with contract administration based out of Falls Church, Virginia. Interested companies should direct their responses to the specified Government point of contact via email. No reimbursement will be provided for costs associated with responding to this notice, and no current solicitation or contract is available.
