Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the DESIGN BUILD Replace Building 5 Roof Emergency at the Sioux Falls VA Medical Center (VAMC) PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System has an aging infrastructure that requires upgrades for continued use. The existing roofing, gutters and flashing are failing and causing water to penetrate building. Water is damaging interior spaces and causing potential health hazards to patients and employees. Contractor shall provide Design-Build services to remove and replace existing gutters, flashing, sheathing and roofing materials. Design-Build services shall be based on the requirements set forth within the latest VA design guidelines. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures listed in the solicitation.
