Full Description

New Addition, Metal canopy occupying approximately 1100 square feet of floor space. a. The Canopy will be a design build project consisting of a Pre-engineered Metal structure which measures minimum , 20’-0? x 54’-0?, with minimum 20’-0? side wall height. Metal structure will meet all requirements listed in UFGS 13 34 19. (Attached) b. The structure will have a metal roof and the west wall will be enclosed with metal siding to finished floor elevation. c. The structure will be supported by concrete piers at each column and no concrete slab will be required. Contractor shall coordinate with East Mississippi Electric Power to remove power pole adjacent to the truck lift, and install a new pole and extend the secondary cables and new guy cables and anchors with new pole set back approximately forty feet from canopy. Contractor shall be responsible for re-connecting existing underground electrical service that feeds the truck shop and install underground electrical service to the new canopy. The Contractor will remove existing areas of concrete that are required to install the concrete piers to support the new structure. Contractor will use extreme caution while performing demolition of the concrete and erection of the new steel building structure, to protect the Hydraulic truck lift. The Contractor will restore any damaged site conditions to match the original conditions.
