Portions of the upstream face of the gate and other specifi ed areas are to be painted with vinyl paint. Existing paint contains lead and must be removed where new paint will be applied. Fabricate and install some miscellaneous metalwork items on the gates. Machine the embedded gate guide slots in the spill bays where the rehabilitated gates are located.
