NOTE: All responses to this IFB shall be mailed to Western Area Power Administation, 5555 E. Crossroads Blvd., Attn: J5620, Loveland, CO. 80538 8986. Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes but is not limited to furnishing and installing high and low voltage bus, grounding system, conduit, insulated conductor and cable, bus systems; install an interrupt or switch, current transformers and a voltage transformer; furnish and install motor-operated disconnect switches with ground blades, manual group-operated disconnect switches, single-pole fuse disconnects, surge arrestors, current transformers, a single-phase distribution transformer and station service switchgear assembly; remove existing fuse disconnects and group-operated disconnect switches; remove an abandoned metal-enclosed unit switchgear; remove foundations and steel structures; provide foundations for substation structures and electrical equipment, replace gravel surfacing. Work shall be conducted on Western?s Wray Substation located in Yuma, Colorado. The magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000 to $1,000,000. There will only be one award from this solicitation. Therefore, all Bidders must submit their bids on an "all or none basis". This solicitation will be issued on or about July 22, 2004. Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required. The closing date is on or about August 24, 2004. This proposed procurement is full and open.
