Y--YELL 318713 Rehabilitate/Replace Old Faithful Wastewater Treatment Plant

The Department of the Interior, through the National Park Service Denver Service Center, is conducting market research via a Sources Sought Notice for the rehabilitation and replacement of the Old Faithful Wastewater Treatment Plant and associated infrastructure in Yellowstone National Park. This project, anticipated as a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract with an estimated magnitude between 50 million and 100 million dollars, includes the construction of new plant buildings such as a headworks/UV facility, final clarifier, and digester and dewatering facilities. The scope also encompasses the rehabilitation of the Old Faithful collection system through CCTV inspection and pipe replacement, as well as the demolition and reconstruction of the Raw Sewage Pump Station and improvements to the Lodge Lift Station. Technical requirements include the installation of a Process Control System with SCADA servers and the provision of standby generators with underground fuel storage. The government is utilizing NAICS code 237110 and is currently evaluating the potential for a small business or socioeconomic set-aside based on the responses received. Interested businesses must provide company identification, UEI numbers, business size status, and statements regarding their bonding capacity and experience with projects of similar scope and magnitude. While no formal solicitation package is available at this time, the National Park Service anticipates issuing a competitive Request for Proposals in the fall of 2026.
