This contract entails the comprehensive renovation of Building 120 at the Dayton VA Medical Center, located at 4100 W. Third Street, Dayton, Ohio, with the goal of transforming the approximately 16,800 square foot facility into fully functional administrative and office space. The scope includes demolition of existing structures, architectural restoration, structural reinforcement, replacement of critical infrastructure such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire alarm, and communication systems, installation of a passenger elevator, and upgrades to flooring, security, and building automation systems. All work must strictly adhere to the project drawings and revised 100 specifications, with particular attention to field conditions, safety protocols outlined in section 01 35 26, and compliance with the 2010 Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design. The project is governed by a firm-fixed-price contract structure, with performance mandated to be completed within 575 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed, beginning immediately upon award.
