Full Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Yankton, located in Yankton, South Dakota, is issuing this a combined synopsis/solicitation for FY27 Quarter 1 Food Service. This solicitation is set aside exclusively for small businesses. Interested vendors are invited to submit quotes based on the specifications outlined in the request for quotation.
Important Information:

- The combined synopsis-solicitation is expected to be available on SAM.gov on August 3, 2026.

The Government's obligationfor performance of this contract beyond that date is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from whichpayment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arisefor performance under this contract beyond 09/30/2026, until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer forperformance and until the Contractor receives notice of availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
The Contractor shall not initiate shipment of any awards under this contract until a funded purchase order has been issued, or express written authorization is provided by the Contracting Officer. Unfunded purchase orders may be issued solely to authorize the Contractor to commence production preparation and staging of awards. The Government assumes no legal liability for shipment or delivery under an unfunded purchase order until the Contracting Officer executes a formal contract modification to incorporate the necessary funds.
