Ymca Fence And Trash Enclosure Project No. 2025-10 & Civic Center Bridge Improvements Project No. 2026-07

The City of La Quinta is soliciting proposals from professional engineering consultants for two distinct infrastructure projects. The first project, identified as 2025-10, requires the design of a new trash enclosure at the La Quinta YMCA, encompassing both structural and architectural elements. The consultant must deliver a complete Plans, Specifications, and Engineer’s Estimate package that adheres strictly to local city codes and the waste management standards of Burrtec. The second project, 2026-07, involves assessing the condition of two pedestrian bridges at the La Quinta Civic Center and developing rehabilitation designs that are both structurally sound and cost-effective. This includes evaluating existing conditions, selecting a preferred repair approach, and preparing a full PS&E package with detailed specifications for protective coating systems to ensure long-term durability. For both projects, the selected consultant will provide ongoing technical support during the bidding process and throughout construction to ensure proper implementation of the designs. Proposals are due by August 11, 2026, and the work is expected to be performed in La Quinta, California.
