Yorba Linda Boulevard Widening Improvements Project

The City of Yorba Linda Public Works Department is implementing the Savi Ranch Parkway Widening/Connect Savi Ranch Project to enhance infrastructure in a primary job center located in the southeastern portion of the city. The scope of work includes roadway improvements along Savi Ranch Parkway, Yorba Linda Boulevard, and Mirage Street, as well as the construction of a multi-use pedestrian and bicycle trail extending from Savi Ranch Parkway through Mirage Street and Old Canal Road, terminating at Eastpark Drive. Key infrastructure requirements include the installation of ADA access ramps and a sidewalk on the westerly side of southbound Mirage Street. The project is estimated to require a 13-month construction period. Technical specifications require all pavement and materials to conform to Caltrans or City Public Works Department Standard Specifications, with retaining wall piles reaching a minimum depth of 25 feet per geotechnical recommendations. Compliance with City of Yorba Linda Municipal Code Title 15, Chapter 15.40 is mandatory. Environmental adherence is critical, requiring construction site BMPs that follow the Orange County Stormwater Program Construction Runoff Guidance Manual and NPDES Permit requirements. Additionally, the contractor must comply with DTSC, U.S. EPA, and OSHA regulations, and adhere to strict noise control ordinances prohibiting construction between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday, as well as on Sundays and federal holidays. The project has been cleared through a CEQA environmental review, confirming no significant environmental effects.
