The purpose of this contract is to provide all required labor, equipment and materials necessary to perform the following work: work includes but is not limited to dewatering, installation of structures, excavation, placement of embankment, reconstructing stream bed and banks with instream weirs or log structures, haul, end haul, and rock excavation at Fire Cove in Southeast Alaska. All project sites are located on Revillagigedo Island which can be accessed by ramp and dock facilities at Fire Cove. Fire Cove is a remote road system with no services or facilities available. Access is by aircraft or boat. The estimated price range for this acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000. The performance period is 517 calendar days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about April 15, 2005 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at +1 (555) 000-0000. Fax requests should reference solicitation R10-05-05-11. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date.
