Alternate A requires dredging approximately 69,000 cubic yards to a depth of 6 feet. Alternate B involves approximately 57,000 cubic yards, with a 6-foot depth for the channel and 5 feet for the basin. Alternate C is the smallest scope, requiring approximately 43,000 cubic yards at a depth of 5 feet for both areas. The estimated construction magnitude is between 1 million and 5 million dollars. To qualify as a small business for this procurement, firms must perform at least 40 percent of the dredging volume using their own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern.
