Replace Existing Physical Security Alarm System at Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway (SACN), Saint Croix Falls, WI

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:

The National Park Service, Contracting Operations Central, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation for the Replace Existing Physical Security Alarm System requirement for Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway (SACN) in Saint Croix Falls, WI.

Work will consist of replacing the aging fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems with new fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems at the Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway. The existing systems are experiencing significant false alarms, and local servicing organizations are having difficulties servicing the existing systems. The National Park Service (NPS) desires to replace the existing systems with non-proprietary systems ensuring local service organizations are capable of maintaining the new systems.

Work covered includes:

a. Demolition and replacement of the existing fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems within multiple buildings

b. The installation of a new electronic access control system with card reader access for selected doors

c. The replacement of selective doors, frames and door hardware

d. Contractor is responsible for minor patching, painting and firestopping of areas affected by the work to maintain existing conditions

e. Optional - Installation of closed-circuit television (CCTV) system for selected buildings

f. Optional - Installation of exterior lighting to compliment the installation of the video surveillance cameras.

g. The work of this contract includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete all contract requirements.
