Description: Replace Slate Roof, Building #28, Boston National Historical Park, Charlestown Navy Yard, Boston, Massachusetts. Solicitation Number I1720-03-0414. The work of this project consists of removal of existing slate roofing and installation of new slate roofing; replacement of approximately 500 square feet of wood sheathing; replace west elevation gutter and reinstall snow guards; install new EPDM roofing on flat roof of building; and repair and repaint miscellaneous metal associated features. The National Park Service anticipates entering into a firm fixed-price construction contract as a result of this solicitation. This acquisition is subject to P.L.100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and as such is open to all concerns regardless of size. The NAICS code for this project is 235610 with a small business size standard of $12.0 million. The contract performance period is 120 calendar days following Notice to Proceed.
