SOLICITATION NO. W9128F-15-T-0066 On or about 31 July 2015, this office will issue a Request for Quotations for the purchase and installation of Unwatering Valves at Ft. Randall Dam, South Dakota. The solicitation will close on or about 2 September 2015. This solicitation is for a 100% small business set-aside. One contract is anticipated to be awarded from the solicitation. Drawings and all solicitation documents will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website https://www.fbo.gov. All amendments will also be posted to this website. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to check the website for any amendments. The proposer shall submit all requested information specified in the proposal. There will be no public opening of the proposals received as a result of this solicitation. DO NOT submit requests for the quotations to the federal agency personnel. See Obtaining Solicitation Documents below. Project Description: The objective is to replace 65 year old unwatering valves and operators at Ft. Randall Dam. This work will involve the replacement of: 8 @ 20 inch diameter draft tube drain valves, 8 @ 12 inch diameter draft tube fill valves, 8 @ 16 inch diameter scroll case drain valves, 4-16 quote mark header valves, and also the replacement of air lines to the pneumatic operators and any deteriorated piping associated with these valves.
