THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES. THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF AN UPCOMING SOLICITATION. The Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Area Office, has a requirement to remove and dispose of existing asbestos containing roofing system, install a new EPDM roof membrane on the Alcova Dam Ring Follower Gatehouse Roof. Also, inspect and repair leaks on the Alcova Powerplant Roof. The work is located at the North Platte Project Alcova Dam and Powerplant, which is located approximately 31 miles Southwest of Casper, Wyoming in Natrona County. The principal features of work are as follows: Removal and disposal of existing asbestos containing 4 ply asphalt saturated felt roofing system materials and existing perimeter parapet wall cap metal and flashings on the Alcova Dam Ring Follower Gatehouse Roof. Install a new single-ply 45 mil EPDM roof membrane on the 21 ft by 25 ft (Approximate 525 square feet) ring follower gatehouse roof with new perimeter parapet wall cap metal, flashings, and cant strips on the Alcova Dam Ring Follower Gatehouse Roof. Inspect and repair leaks in the roof for the Alcova Powerplant. The existing roof system is an EPDM ballasted roof. Solicitation packages will be available on or around August 1, 2019.
