Z1DA--621-23-104 - Relocate Police Dispatch

The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to procure construction services for the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tennessee, under Project Number 621-23-104, for the complete preparation of the site needed to relocate the Police Dispatch facility. This work includes demolition and removal of existing structures, furnishing all labor and materials, and performing all tasks required per the project’s detailed drawings, specifications, and Statement of Work. The project is estimated to cost between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000, with a period of performance spanning 365 calendar days from contract award. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and VA-specific laws, regulations, codes, and policies, ensuring that the construction meets designated technical and regulatory standards. This procurement will be executed as a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C. §8127(d). Eligible offerors must be listed in the SBA’s VetCert database and have an active registration in SAM.gov at both submission and award. The contract will be awarded via sealed bidding following FAR Part 14.101 procedures, emphasizing contractor responsibility determination under FAR Part 9. The place of performance is fixed at the VA Medical Center’s address, and all questions during the solicitation process must be submitted in writing to the designated Contract Specialist, Brian Bentley.
