Z2DA--Replace Building 1 Heat Exchanger

This contract seeks the replacement of the heat exchanger in Building 1 at the VA Medical Center in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, under Project No. 542-25-112, with a total performance period of 90 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed. The work involves not only replacing the existing heat exchanger with a reconfigured unit lowered to allow easier future maintenance without major piping modifications but also relocating steam control valves to accessible positions, replacing the pressure-powered condensate pump with an electric model, and substituting the abandoned flash tank with a new ASME-certified vessel.
