Zone 5 N. Water Storage Reservoir SOQ-REISSUE

West Jordan City is seeking Statements of Qualifications from general contractors to pre-qualify for the Zone 5 North 4.0 MG Water Storage Reservoir project. The scope of work involves the construction of a fully buried circular AWWA D-110 Type 1 wire-wrapped reinforced concrete tank on Hikers Pass Drive in West Jordan, Utah. The project includes site grading, drainage, landscaping, and the installation of electrical systems and site piping for the inlet, overflow, drain line, and gravity feed outlet. Only contractors who successfully complete this pre-qualification process will be invited to bid on the project. To be eligible, contractors must pass a set of minimum requirements, including holding a current Utah E100 contractor license, maintaining a three-year rolling average EMR of 1.5 or better, and possessing the capacity to bond 100% of the bid price. Firms must demonstrate at least ten years of experience in reinforced concrete water reservoir construction, including the completion of at least one AWWA D-110 Type 1 reservoir of 3 MG or greater within the last decade. Key personnel requirements include a project manager and onsite superintendent, both with at least ten years of experience and specific project history with concrete water reservoirs. Qualified candidates will be scored based on previous project performance, personnel qualifications, project approach and scheduling, financial stability, and the overall clarity of their submission. Statements of Qualifications must be submitted via the U3P website by 2:00 pm MDT on September 3, 2026.
