MDA TEAMS Next Request For Information

The contract pertains to the Missile Defense Agency's TEAMS-Next initiative, a multi-faceted procurement effort aimed at securing a range of information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, logistics, facilities, and mission assurance services. Over time, the contract has undergone several updates and amendments, including changes to NAICS codes, release and updates of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), scheduling adjustments due to impacts from COVID-19, and the establishment of organizational conflicts of interest (OCI) policies. The government has emphasized transparency and industry engagement through posting detailed schedules, draft RFPs, and policy documents on platforms like beta.SAM.gov and PIEE, encouraging vendors to register for access and participate in the evolving solicitation process. Key elements include the phased release of final RFPs for specific functional areas such as C3PO (Contracting, Compliance, Cost/Price, and Operations), Quality and Mission Assurance, Safety, Intelligence, and Warfighter support. The agency has also set small business subcontracting goals for the full and open procurements within TEAMS-Next. Contract management and industry coordination contacts have been updated, with Anthony Fisher identified as the current primary point of contact as of early 2022. Overall, the contract reflects a comprehensive and adaptive acquisition strategy to meet the diverse technical and operational needs of the Missile Defense Agency while accommodating stakeholder feedback and external challenges.
