Pacific Spaceport Complex Alaska - PSCA Follow-on

The Missile Defense Agency has awarded a sole-source, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity hybrid contract to Alaska Aerospace Corp. for launch facility and range support services at the Pacific Spaceport Complex Alaska on Kodiak Island. This follow-on contract, valued at a maximum of 110,864,000 dollars, utilizes a combination of cost-plus-incentive-fee, firm-fixed-price, and cost structures. The award was justified as a sole-source procurement because Alaska Aerospace Corp. is the only entity possessing the necessary FAA license and state authority to operate the facility. The ordering period for the contract runs from August 12, 2022, through January 11, 2029. Initial funding of 369,784 dollars from fiscal year 2022 Research and Development funds was obligated at the time of award. Managed by the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville, Alabama, the contract falls under NAICS code 541715 and is designated as contract number HQ085522D0001.
