Print Notice Conversion: Braille and/or Microsoft Word on CD ROM

The current solicitation for the contract titled "Print Notice Conversion: Braille and/or Microsoft Word on CD ROM" has been cancelled to allow the issuance of a revised solicitation. The revision includes a significant change to the scope of work outlined in Section B, specifically regarding the formats of notices supplied to the contractor. Previously, contractors received notices in AFP format, but under the revised terms, the Social Security Administration (SSA) will convert these notices to PDF format before sending them to the contractor, eliminating the need for the contractor to handle AFP files. This contract falls under the NAICS code 561410 and is managed by the SSA Office of Acquisition Grants in Baltimore, Maryland, which is also the designated place of performance. The contract relates to the conversion of printed notices into accessible formats such as Braille or Microsoft Word on CD-ROM. The primary point of contact for this solicitation is Dawn Caracci, a Senior Technical Advisor at SSA, who can be reached via provided phone and email. The revision aims to streamline processing and ensure the contractor receives files in a consistent and accessible format.
