Albert Renewal 25/26

Escambia County is soliciting quotes for the renewal of the CIS Albert MD Monitoring Primary Sensor for the period of April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. The Albert Sensor is a passive Intrusion Detection System used to monitor network traffic for malicious activity via daily updated threat signatures, with alerts forwarded to a 24x7 Security Operations Center. This system is specifically utilized for security monitoring of critical infrastructure, including election systems. The procurement is managed by the IT department in Pensacola, Florida, under solicitation number ITQ2026-012, with a response deadline of March 24, 2026. The award process is price-sensitive, emphasizing the lowest net cost and requiring a new, current production model of the sensor. Vendors must submit quotes electronically via the OpenGov portal and provide supporting product literature and samples. Eligibility is contingent upon several certifications, including compliance with E-Verify, a sworn statement regarding public entity crimes, and certification that the vendor is not a scrutinized company. Preference in the award evaluation is given to vendors with a certified Drug-Free Workplace Program. All deliveries are to be made to locations within Escambia County, Florida, with the contractor assuming risk of loss until final acceptance at the destination.
