Nevada Early Childhood Data Systems Infrastructure & Support RFI

The Nevada Department of Education’s Office of Early Learning and Development issued Request for Information 30DOE-S4035 to explore market capabilities, technical architectures, and fair-market cost structures for early childhood data systems. This RFI is intended to inform a federal PDG B-5 SMART grant proposal and support the development of a sustainable IT maintenance framework for the Early Learning Data and Reporting System. Key technical objectives include finalizing pending system components, scaling data architecture, launching the ECAC Data Bank (NEST), expanding the PEAKS family engagement survey, and integrating early childhood workforce data. The project envisions a compressed 10-month execution window to establish an efficient data pipeline and ensure state leaders have access to up-to-date visualizations for evidence-based decision-making. Respondents must submit their information as a quote through the NevadaEPro portal by October 15, 2026, ensuring that technical and cost information are provided in separate attachments. Required documentation includes a Vendor Information Form, a Narrative Description and Technical Approach, an Architectural Approach, and comparative market pricing. All active cloud vendors must comply with GovRAMP verification as of March 2026, and the system must resolve pending ADA WCAG compliance updates. This process is strictly for market research and budget justification; it is not a solicitation for bids or proposals, and no contract award will result directly from this RFI.
