Tara Scott

Int. Forms Submission, Processing and Storage

The IRS has updated its acquisition strategy for the International Information Processing & Exchange contract, previously known as International Forms-Submission, Processing and Storage Support (IF-SPSS), in response to industry feedback received from a Request for Information (RFI) issued on March 7, 2018. Instead of establishing its own Blanket Purchase Agreement, the IRS will now utilize a Best in Class vehicle to streamline procurement. This strategic shift reflects the agency's commitment to incorporating industry input and improving the overall process based on the feedback provided. The amendment includes responses to previous RFI questions and indicates that a formal solicitation will be issued soon to GSA Alliant Large Businesses. The contract pertains to the NAICS code 541511 and is intended to support operations in Lanham, Maryland (zip code 20706). Tara L. Scott is the designated point of contact for inquiries, though the government has reserved the right to not respond to phone calls or emails regarding this notification. Interested parties are encouraged to review the attached Q&A responses linked to the amendment and to contact the contracting officer only if the attachment is missing, signaling a focused communication channel and an emphasis on leveraging the current Best in Class vehicle for efficient acquisition.
