The Social Security Administration is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing and supporting a modern Digital Recording Process for the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. The agency seeks a Windows-compatible solution to replace or upgrade recording capabilities across approximately 880 hearing rooms. Key technical requirements include multi-channel audio recording with the ability to isolate individual input sources, mobility for recording devices, instant playback, and the ability to capture associated notes or use voice recognition for tagging. The system must interface with existing PolyCom video equipment, operate with or without a network connection, and comply with FISMA security protocols and Section 508 accessibility standards. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing installation, training, and technical support, including a 24-hour turnaround time for replacement parts. The agency is specifically interested in solutions that are plug-and-play, programmatically customizable, and potentially centrally controlled. Interested firms must submit their company information, a detailed explanation of their capabilities mapped to the specific requirements, and feedback on the most effective procurement vehicle, such as a GSA Federal Supply Schedule or GWAC. This request is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to award a contract.
