Digital Feasibility Study of a solid-state hydrogen-powered Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV)The Department of National Defence is seeking a contractor to conduct a digital feasibility study for a solid-state hydrogen-powered Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV) with a maximum weight of 45,000 lbs, under solicitation W8486-270848/A. The contract is intended to be awarded for an initial two-year term with final delivery required no later than March 20, 2028, and has a total ceiling value of $1,200,000, allocated across fiscal years 2026/27 ($500,000) and 2027/28 ($700,000), with applicable taxes excluded. The scope of work includes performing a SWaP analysis, determining vehicle configurations for 4x4, 6x6, 8x8, and tracked platforms, delivering 3-D CAD models, and producing a suite of technical deliverables including a project schedule in GANTT format, a mission profile, draft and final reports, and a project presentation.
