PRIME GENIUS

Prime Genius specializes in the design, installation, and replacement of commercial-grade HVAC systems for federal facilities, with deep expertise in retrofitting aging infrastructure to meet modern efficiency and reliability standards. Their work includes full-system replacements of wall-mounted heaters, split-unit air conditioners, and centralized HVAC assemblies in remote, mission-critical buildings. They execute projects in compliance with detailed technical specifications, ensuring proper ductwork integration, refrigerant handling, thermostat controls, and energy-efficient equipment selection—often in environmentally sensitive or hard-to-access locations such as national forests and monuments. Their capability extends to turnkey execution: sourcing certified materials, deploying skilled labor, managing site logistics, and delivering fully operational systems with minimal disruption to ongoing agency operations. Prime Genius has established a consistent track record serving the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Department of the Interior, primarily supporting forest service and national park operations. For the USDA, they have replaced non-functional HVAC units across ranger stations and prevention offices in the Inyo National Forest, while for the DOI, they’ve modernized climate control systems in visitor and administrative buildings at Lava Beds National Monument. Their engagements reflect a pattern of responding to urgent infrastructure failures in remote, high-altitude, or ecologically constrained sites where reliability and durability are paramount. The contractor’s primary focus is NAICS 238220—Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors—where they operate as a specialized trades firm delivering precision HVAC solutions for federal public lands infrastructure. They are not a general contractor but a niche provider focused exclusively on climate control systems in government-owned facilities, positioning themselves as a trusted vendor for mission-critical environmental control in rugged, low-traffic federal sites. Based in West Sacramento, California, Prime Genius operates as a small, locally rooted business with no federal certifications on record. Their geographic proximity to key federal land management areas in Northern California enables rapid mobilization and on-site responsiveness, reinforcing their role as a regional specialist in federal HVAC modernization.
