SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC FEDERAL, INC.

Schneider Electric Buildings Critical Systems, Inc. specializes in the design, integration, and technical support of building automation and critical infrastructure systems for federal facilities. Their core capabilities center on SmartStruxure and INET building automation systems, including training, operational support, and corrective maintenance for HVAC, SCADA, and electrical control networks. They deliver end-to-end solutions for energy management, system retrofitting, and commissioning of electrical components, including breaker upgrades and adapter cradle installations for legacy switchboards. Technical expertise spans supervisory control and data acquisition systems, facility-wide wiring and electrical installations, and integrated facilities support services such as documentation and SOP development. Their differentiation lies in deep product-specific knowledge of Schneider Electric hardware and software ecosystems, enabling seamless retrofits and interoperability in complex, mission-critical environments. The contractor maintains strong, recurring relationships with the Department of Transportation and the Department of Defense, providing building automation training, SCADA system support, and electrical troubleshooting for transportation and military installations. They also support the General Services Administration with integrated facility services, including specialized work at high-security federal sites such as the White House West Wing. Engagement patterns indicate a focus on sustaining and modernizing aging infrastructure across defense and civilian federal campuses. Industry focus is anchored in plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning contracting, with complementary work in computer systems design, facilities support, and electrical contracting. This positions them as a technical integrator bridging physical building systems with digital control platforms, serving federal agencies requiring reliable, secure, and interoperable building infrastructure. As a 2L entity based in Columbia, Maryland, the company operates as a specialized systems integrator without federal certifications. Their geographic presence supports nationwide federal projects, with demonstrated capacity to execute complex, multi-disciplinary tasks in secure and mission-critical environments.
