WILD RIVERS CONSULTING LLC

WILD RIVERS CONSULTING LLC specializes in scientific research and technical evaluation focused on freshwater ecosystems and aquatic species conservation, particularly within the physical and life sciences domain. Their core capabilities include field-based ecological assessments, population dynamics modeling, and environmental impact analysis for imperiled fish species such as the pallid sturgeon. The firm applies rigorous hydrological and biological data collection methods, integrating field sampling, telemetry, and habitat suitability modeling to support science-driven resource management decisions. Their work emphasizes non-invasive monitoring techniques, adaptive management frameworks, and the translation of complex ecological data into actionable policy inputs for natural resource agencies. Technical expertise spans ichthyology, fluvial geomorphology, and environmental bioassessment, with a clear specialization in native aquatic species recovery programs under federal conservation mandates. The contractor has demonstrated direct engagement with the Department of the Interior, delivering applied scientific research that informs species protection and habitat restoration initiatives. Their work supports Interior’s mission to sustain healthy aquatic ecosystems through evidence-based decision-making, particularly in riverine environments under stress from climate variability and anthropogenic alteration. This relationship suggests a trusted, project-specific partnership centered on field science and ecological evaluation rather than broad institutional contracting. The primary NAICS code, 541715, reflects a focus on applied environmental research in engineering and life sciences, excluding biotechnology and nanotechnology. This positions the firm within the niche of ecological science services supporting federal land and water resource management, particularly for species listed under the Endangered Species Act. Their market positioning is that of a specialized environmental research provider serving federal conservation programs. WILD RIVERS CONSULTING LLC is a small, Montana-based entity with no formal government certifications. Operating from Livingston, the firm maintains a regional footprint aligned with Western U.S. river systems critical to native fish conservation. Their structure suggests a lean, science-driven operation focused on high-value, mission-critical ecological assessments.
