The requirement is the purchase of a Research Vessel Kelpfly (a modified Jet Ski / airboat system with an integrated Bathyswath SWATHPlus Splash 468 kHz interferometric bathymetric sidescan sonar and an Applanix WaveMaster POS-MV). A new or used product is acceptable as long as it is existing and proven in shallow water. California State University, Monterey Bay is the only known manufacturer that can provide Research Vessel Kelpfly as described in the Salient Characteristics.
