Full Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex intends to contract with Ultra Poly, Inc., on a sole source basis, for various quantities and sizes of synthetic decking, fabricated IAW Commercial Item Description # A-A-59488. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 325211; the size standard is 750 employees. Inspection and Acceptance is at destination. This contract will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price contract utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures as set forth in FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The anticipated delivery for material is 22 April 2002. Closing date for receipt of offers will be specified in the solicitation when issued. Requests for the solicitation will be accepted via mail addressed to: Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk naval Shipyard Annex, Building 1500, 2nd Floor, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000, ATTN: Nancy M. Hayden, Code 531.4A or via e-mail addressed to contact@example.gov. All requests shall include, as a minimum, complete solicitation number, the complete mailing address, telephone number, fax number and point of contact. Phone or fax requests are not authorized and will not be accepted. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFARS 252.204-7004 "REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION" APPLIES. LACK OF REGISTRATION IN THE CCR DATABASE WILL MAKE AN OFFEROR/QUOTER INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. INFORMATION RELATIVE TO THE CCR CAN BE OBTAINED THROUGH INTERNET AT HTTP://CCR.EDI.DISA.MIL.
