2008 Newborn Hearing Conference Support

In accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole-source purchase order to the ARSI-ONLUS Associazione Per Lar Ricerca, in Milan, Italy to accomplish the following: 1.) plan, develop, coordinate, oversee and report on all aspects of the conference. The vendor will collect and organize information resulting from the conference and prepare a Summit Proceeding with input by the co-sponsors. Approval of the final report is required by CDC. 2.) All activities required for the preparation, publishing and dissemination of the Summit Proceedings for the NHS 2008. This shall be carried out in coordination with the CDC. The report will contain various speeches, presentations, and discussions resulting from meetings and all follow-up discussions. The report will be in English. It will include highly technical materials and written for an audience consistent with a widespread public release. 3.) Sub tasks include, but are not limited to: A.) Kickoff meeting to be held via tele-conference with CDC NCBDDD to clarify the necessary requirement and assure a common understanding of the task. B.) Work plan/progress report of all preliminary actions and steps are in place leading to a successful outcome. C.) Collect, edit, and/or otherwise write introductions and content tying the report into a unified whole. D.) Follow-up with key contributors to the report for additional content, prior to submission of draft report. E.) Draft report of all planning materials, to include full agenda and press events. F.) Record and document all presentations and conference led discussions of pre/post conference meetings and calls. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
