Sealed bids for construction of 2025 Metter CDBG will be received until 07/07/26 at 2 PM at 700 Washington Street, Metter, Georgia 30439 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. There will be a pre-bid meeting at 10:00 AM on June 16th, 2026, at the City of Metter Public Works Department at 700 Washington Street, Metter, Georgia 30439. The work shall include: Drainage improvements including 1,940 LF of 48" ADS-HP storm piping and storm structures. Sewer improvements including replacing sewer mains with 1140 LF of 10" HDPE using pipe bursting, laterals, manhole, rehab, and misc. construction. Time allotted for completion of work is 120 calendar days. Contract Documents are on file at Parker Engineering, LLC. Copies may be obtained from Lindsey Bashlor, Parker Engineering, LLC., 36 Courtland Street, Suite B, Statesboro, Georgia 30458, Phone: (912) 764-7722, Email: lindsey@parker-engineering.com, upon payment of $150.00 for each full-size set (non-refundable). Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier¿s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Funding is to be provided by the CDBG administered by DCA and Metter. All Bidders must comply with 41 CFR 60-4, regarding affirmative action, to ensure equal opportunity to females and minorities and will apply the timetables and goals set forth in 41 CFR 60-4, as applicable.
