The Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) is seeking contractors to provide road rehabilitation and maintenance services during the 2026 construction season, covering a range of activities such as milling and paving asphalt, subgrade removal and preparation, concrete rehabilitation, and various asphalt and concrete repairs. These tasks will encompass all necessary traffic accommodation to ensure safety and efficient workflow. The scope and complexity of the work may fluctuate throughout the season, and successful contractors will enter into a non-binding agreement to be listed on a roster for future project assignments. Contractors selected will sign a Master Agreement, making them eligible to participate in a Call-Up Process where specific project details will be communicated through Statements of Requirements issued by CBRM. There is no fee for acquiring the tender documents, however, accessing up-to-date information, including amendments and addenda, requires referencing the Nova Scotia Procurement Portal. Interested parties should note that some third-party platforms may require registration or fees for document access or tender submission. The deadline for responses is April 23, 2026, and all correspondence is managed by the designated contracting authority at CBRM.
