The General Services Administration (GSA) has announced the 2026 Fall Open Season for the 2025 Wheelchair Accessible Light Vehicles Program under Solicitation 47QMCA24R0034. This period allows existing contractors to submit Next Model Year (NMY) information for previously awarded line items, and also invites current and new offerors to propose new vehicle models compliant with Federal Vehicle Standards and purchase descriptions outlined on gsafleet.gov. Key activities include a virtual Industry Day scheduled for May 27, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM EST to explain the Open Season process, with participation details provided through Google Meet and telephone options. Important dates span from vendor pre-bid intentions and comment collection between March 30 and May 15, 2026, through various Open Season rounds culminating with ordering opening December 14, 2026. All deadlines may be subject to change. The program is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under FAR 19.5, aligned with NAICS code 336211, and managed by the GSA/FAS Automotive Center based in Washington, DC. Vehicle supplier account creation on GSAFleet.gov is restricted to GSA, after which suppliers can manage user roles internally. Contact persons for the solicitation include Sharon Hamer and Pamela Dail, whose emails and phone numbers are provided for inquiries. The original solicitation may be updated during award to reflect current contracting personnel and FAR clauses. This initiative aims to ensure a transparent, structured procurement process for wheelchair accessible light vehicles, supporting government fleet requirements with compliant and innovative solutions.
