Sealed Bids for the 2026 LMIG ROAD IMPROVEMENTS will be received by the BAKER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, Georgia for all material, labor and equipment at Board of Commissioners office at 439 GA-91, Newton, Georgia 39870, up to 11:00 a.m., prevailing local time, on July 21st, 2026, and then publicly opened and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend. This Advertisement for Bid is intended to meet the requirements of Georgia Code Section 36-91-2, as amended by SB146. This Project will patch and resurface approximately 3.99 miles of Josuli Road from Cross Road to Joe Heard Road. This scope generally consists of 375 TONS of Road Patching by milling existing road and replacing with 4¿ of 19 mm Superpave Asphalt, 2,040 TONS of leveling with OGI, and 3,200 TONS of asphalt overlay.
