Solicitation # FDC-214-102565
Project FDC-214-102565.1 involves the demolition of an existing concrete dam and associated infrastructure at Ryerson Station State Park in Richhill Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania. Managed by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the scope of work encompasses site preparation, including the installation and removal of erosion and sediment control measures and the implementation of a traffic control plan. Technical requirements include stripping and stockpiling topsoil, surface water control, dewatering subgrades, excavation, and the placement of select fill. The project concludes with site restoration, including topsoil application and seeding in all disturbed areas. All work must adhere to specific ASTM International standards for soil analysis and compaction, and the contractor is required to provide a complete set of as-built drawings upon completion. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, with an engineer's estimate exceeding 1 million dollars. Bidders must meet mandatory participation goals of 19 percent for Small Disadvantaged Businesses and 3 percent for Veteran Business Enterprises. Required securities include a bid guaranty, a 100 percent performance bond, a 100 percent material and labor payment bond, and a 50 percent maintenance bond. Contractors must comply with extensive Pennsylvania state labor laws, including the Prevailing Wage Act and the Construction Workplace Misclassification Act. Payments are processed via Automated Clearing House, and the contractor is responsible for engaging an independent testing laboratory for quality control services, subject to oversight by the Department's quality assurance program.

Solicitation # S-1397
The City of Garden Grove is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from Design Build Entities for the design and construction of eight new pickleball courts with lighting at Garden Grove Park. This project, estimated to cost between 1,000,000 and 1,200,000 dollars, includes all labor, materials, engineering, and construction services, including site preparation, surfacing, striping, fencing, and electrical infrastructure. Full Description

The Rainbird Trail offers a convenient and immersive rainforest experience within a 20-minute walk from the city center and cruise ship docks. This trail is moderately difficult and traverses some 1.25 - miles of steep terrain above the UAS Ketchikan Campus, the Jefferson Reservoir, and Third Ave. bypass. The terrain is a mixture of site-sourced rock and gravel walking surfaces, log tread stairs, bridges and cut rock walkways. A couple years ago the area incurred a landslide mid trail. This created an unsafe and unclear transition from start to finish on this trail. It hasn't been maintained and is overgrown since the slide. As the area has become stable and safe, we are taking steps to regenerate activity by improving each side of the slide. Our plan is to eventually restore the hike to its full length. This improvement will help define the north route back through the forest trail and increase the usability throughout the year.
