To improve corridor-wide safety and operational efficiency, the project will feature one mainline travel lane in each direction, a continuous central turning lane, and select right-turn deceleration lanes designed to effectively separate turning movements from through traffic at high-volume side streets. A key component of this corridor modernization is the installation of a shared-use path, which will provide vital multimodal connectivity for cyclists and pedestrians between the Fury's Ferry Road (SR 28) corridor and Evans Town Center.
