Full Description

This office intends to competitively award a FFP order for one each vehicle (FSC 2310), sedan special protected . Vehicle shall be assembled as an integral armor structural component design. Armoring (B6/7) shall be performed during assembly line manufacturing of the vehicle. After market, up-armoring of the vehicle is not acceptable. Minimum ballistic protection shall be IAW testing procedures utilized by the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA), Beschussamt Ulm/Mellrichstadt, IABG Paderborn and U.S. testing certification procedures. Vehicle shall meet the applicable requirements of the German Strassenverkehrs-Zulasungsordnung (StZVO)/general operating authorization (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis) for Germany. Vehicle to be furnished shall be new or not older than of MY 08. Vehicles shall be delivered 60 DARO or earlier. Delivery shall be FOB destination within Germany. Procurement is being conducted IAW requirements of FAR Part 13, Subpart 13.5 and FAR Part 12. Request for Quotation (RFQ) W912CM-10-T-0150 will be issued on or about 08 Jun 10 with a closing date of on or about 21 Jun 10. A copy of the RFQ may be requested in writing from Ms. Rostock-Clements via email: contact@example.gov. Subject line shall be the RFQ number. The request shall include the requestors complete name and address, telephone and fax number as well an email address.
