Must have diesel engine with engine block heater, and heady duty battery. The facility currently has maintenance parts and knowledge of diesel engines. No gasoline engine. Must have four-wheel drive with speed management to set the engine speed at optimal RPM for attachment being operated at the time. Must have joystick and attachment control kit for adjusting the attachment being operated at the time. Must have ability to operate high flow hydraulic attachments 27.9gpm Must be able to lock and un-lock the attachments on the lifting arm from the cab using hydraulics. Must have quick couplers for changing out attachments. Must have all-wheel steer for maneuvering around obstacles in low traction conditions to minimize damage to turf and gravel areas on campus.
