Chatham County, Georgia, is seeking qualified contractors to provide on-call marine construction services for its Parks and Recreation locations under a one-year base contract with four one-year renewal options, with a not-to-exceed annual value of $75,000. The work involves repair and replacement of wooden, aluminum, and concrete marine structures—including boardwalks, docks, fishing piers, and bridges—across approximately 19 sites, totaling over 6,700 linear feet of infrastructure exposed to coastal environments. Contractors must supply labor, materials, and equipment meeting marine-grade standards such as UV-stabilized PVC, stainless steel, and aluminum, while adhering to the International Building Code with Georgia amendments, and ensuring all work complies with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
