The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority plans to award a sole source procurement for an extension of a lease involving Temporary Quick Turnaround (QTA) Ready Prep Equipment. This procurement is being conducted under a single source method, justified by reasons such as standardization and warranty considerations, making it the most advantageous option despite the potential availability of other suppliers. The approach aligns with both the Authority's Policy 450.03 and Florida State Statute 287.057 (3) (c), ensuring compliance with established guidelines for non-competitive purchases. Interested parties are invited to submit written responses through the OpenGov e-Procurement Platform by March 6, 2026, at midnight, to express their capability to provide the requested goods or services. These responses will be used solely to determine whether a competitive procurement would better serve the Authority’s interests. The final decision not to compete the procurement rests with the Chief Executive Officer for purchases up to $250,000 and with the Aviation Authority Board for amounts exceeding that threshold. The primary contact for this action is Kerry Gray-Brown, Senior Procurement Agent, reachable via email or phone for further inquiries.
