This procurement involves the acquisition of 34 compressor disks, part number 719409, for the TF33 engine under solicitation SPRTA1-12-R-0002. The government requires a delivery schedule of 10 units per month beginning September 30, 2013. The requirement is intended to be priced and awarded under the Pratt and Whitney Corporate Contract, as Pratt and Whitney is currently the only qualified source capable of satisfying the agency's needs. Due to the unavailability of technical data and specifications required for competitive bidding, this action is being pursued as a limited source procurement. While the government is primarily negotiating with the identified source, interested parties were given a window to demonstrate their capability to fulfill the requirement. The acquisition involves military or space technology, and the final award was anticipated within 60 days of the notice issuance.
